I find the treatment of this photo quite wonderful. there is a softness in the rendering that exacerbates the feeling of glare caused by this landscape. There is a dramatic tension that I don't know why I think of Camus's book "The Stranger"when the narrator is on the beach. Yes, there is a great power in this image.

now this came at the right time I have my bags packed. I am just off to Malawi to my family there tomorrow but posts are all scheduled in but i will not be commenting from here. however not before I tell you i love who you took and/or edited this beautiful image Bill. I wonder would it be a good shot for story telling?
